Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. Where are you based?Our offices are based in Castle Donington at regus house but we cover the whole of the East Midlands at no extra cost to you the client.

 

2. What areas do your cover? We cover all of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Stapleford, Sandiacre, Risley, Spondon, Alvastan, Long Eaton, Sawley, Castle Donington, Beeston, Chilwell, Wollaton, Bramcote, Trowell, Ilkeston, Ripley & More for our Building and installation service. For our maintenance service we normally only cover towns in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. 

 

3. How can we arrange for a quotation? You should fill out our online contact forms or call office on 01332 6550 269, your call will be put through to one of our decicated directors.

 

4.Do you have Corgi/ Gas Safe Plumbers and NICEIC Electricians? Yes, all our gas works is certified by a Corgi/ Gas Safe Plumber and Electric works is done by a qualified Electrician.

 

5. Can You urgently start working in my property -- I don't have time to wait ? ...for medium size and big project we usually need about 2 weeks notice in order to start. Dues to our ever expanding team smaller projects can be started straight away! Please, contact us to check availability. And we always try to be flexible for our customers.

 

6. Does your fixed quotation include the cost of materials? We usually provide Fixed Price Quotations for labour cost and and building materials, which we can get for you for trade prices from SELCO, TOPPSTILES, B&Q, HOWDENS, TRAVIS PERKINS, BUILDER DEPOT, etc.

 

7. Can You finish work in a limit time ? Most of the time-Yes. Please, call us to find out our availability. We would need to know the following: start day, dead line, required work and address for that project. We would tell you whether it is feasible.

 

8. How many people going to work in my property ?It depends from the size of the project and time scale. On medium size projects (house/flat refurbishment) usually work 3-4 people.

 

9. Can I pay whole amount of money once all required work has been done?We ask customers to pay by instalments. Number of instalments depend from the size of the project (for example: £6000 project we would ask to pay by 3-4 instalments). Last instalment (10-15%) can be paid on completion of the whole project. We would discuss payment method before the start of any work. We do require the first instalment to be made as a deposit.

 

10. Will you remove all rubbish from my house ?Yes, quotation includes cleaning any property from building rubbish. Cost of RUBBISH DISPOSAL included in quotation as well.

 

11. I'd like to paint my flat and also change style of my bathroom. But I don't think I can choose right colour, furniture, materials, etc. Can you give any advice for this, please ?Of course, we are really happy to help. Most of our kitchen/bathroom suppliers provide FREE VISIT and DESIGN (2D, 3D). And we are happy to provide useful suggestions regarding colours, lighting, positions, safety and comfort. We can help you to get materials for trade prices from your suppliers as well!

 

12. How can I pay? We accept Cash, Cheque and Online Transfer.

 

13. Do you sign contract for the jobs? Yes. Executive Developments and Maintenance always provide written contracts. Quotation, as contract, includes: company number, insurance, description of required work, prices, dates, etc.

 

14. Are you able to do very small projects (few hours or half day) ? Yes, we are able to carry out small jobs as well. We have a minimum charge, which equal to Executive Developments and Maintenance daily rate (£185 per tradesmen). So, if job will take 2-3 hours you still have to pay for a full day.

 

15. Do you provide work guarantee? Yes, each type of work comes with different guarantee terms, but generally all our installation comes with 12 month guarantee. Please, contact us to double check it.

 

16. I am very busy and don't have time to buy materials. Can You do it ?Yes, we can buy & deliver all required materials.
